Over the course of the first three days, you'll be engaged in Corporate Governance and Risk Management. We will discuss the role of corporate governance in ensuring that the corporation adds maximum value to society, as well as how to measure corporate performance. Then, we’ll provide a context for the roles of shareholders, owners, and managers. We will also cover the role of directors as the link between those who provide capital (the shareholders) and the people who use that capital to create value (the managers).
